Three Dare Schools have recently received prestigious national recognition.

Manteo High School has been named an A school for the second year in a row. Ranking in the top 3 percent of all high schools in North Carolina, this is a tremendous accomplishment on behalf of the students and staff.

Manteo Elementary Schools has exceeded expected growth and placed in the top 10 percent of all schools in North Carolina that exceeded growth.

And, Kitty Hawk Elementary School has been named a Blue Ribbon School by the United States Secretary of Education, Betsy Devos.
