The State of North Carolina is launching the new SUN Bucks Program, a food assistance program that will provide benefits to qualifying students and families to help purchase healthy foods during the summer months.

Eligible students may receive their SUN Bucks card this summer at their mailing address on file at their school. If your child is approved for or receives National School Lunch Program Free or Reduced-Price meals at their school, they may automatically qualify to receive SUN Bucks this summer.

More information about SUN Bucks eligibility is coming soon. Please visit the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) website for updates about eligibility, the application process, and issuance dates.
